My daughter was married at the Library Galleria in Sacramento on September 16, 2011, and had chosen Dallas McConahay, of Flowers by Dallas, as her florist, based on a recommendation. She put in a purchase order and gave Dallas a check for the majority of the $825 bill.
The flowers were supposed to be delivered to the setting at 2:30 PM. Unfortunately, the nonreturned phone calls started shortly there after. At 3:30 PM, Dallas arrived with the flowers and a bad attitude. The bridesmaids did not get their bouquets of white roses, but bouquets of half dead purple and white hydrangeas. One of the bouquets had a ribbon on it that was covered with blood. Also, he never brought my daughters bouquet. One of the bridesmaids called a local florist to quickly make up a wedding bouquet, sent the limousine driver across town to pick up the bouquet, and one of the groomsmen put the new $90 bill on his credit card. The floral arrangements for the tables at the reception also were not what was paid for. The 4 inch glass vases were actually all different sizes and colors. There were no clear stones and no ribbons, and again the flowers were half dead. My friend/ coordinator told him that he needed to wait until I got there to meet with him, and he sneaked away without saying anything.
