Thursday the 15th of March I received one of 2 phone calls from Focus Van Lines wanting to up my move date by 2 days making pick up either the 20th or 21st. After not hearing anything by late saturday after noon I tried calling the company no answer.

Called Nationwide relocation services (who is responsible for hiring Focus Van Lines) and spoke with Joe in costomer service who informed me that Focus and changed the move date back to the original dates and would be there Monday morning 8-9am.

Monday 22nd- 11:00am NO movers NO phone call!!

Call Focus no answer. Call Nationwide talk to costumer service they say will definatly be there within 30 mins.

3:00- Driver calls me is over 2 hours away will have to come Tuesday morning 8-9 am.

Tuesday 23- 11:00 Movers finally show up wanting to add charges for packing. Everything was already pack considering they were suppose to be there 2 days ago. After 5 Hours (why that long for what little I had I still dont understand) drivers leave. Inform me that they are to go back to the weigh station and have the truck reweighed. Would receive a phone call 2-3 days later with weight info

26th Called for reweight no one knew anything driver didnt turn it in

delivery date 29th -april 7th still no stuff

April 7th found out my stuff had been in a storage facility since the day of pick up March 23rd. April 8th my husband called them once again mentioned that he would be contacting a lawyer regarding the problems with them. Shortly after he called I finally get a phone call 1st time in 2 weeks from the mysterious DAVID whom everytime I called was told he was on an airplane and couldnt be reach but as soon as possible they would deleiver a message. David was the only person whom from what I was told by everyone at Focus was they only person who could give me the answers I needed. Back to the phone call David calls threating to continue to hold my things in a storage facility (That I knew nothing about until the day before) until I wired the balance in full to his bank account PLUS an extra 450.00. Also threating me telling me that now because I contacted a lawyer regarding this that he wouldnt deleiver my stuff until his lawyers ect... talked to mine and sent out paper work for it. After a heated few minutes he told me there was nothing I could do about it just deal with it. Hung up on him after that comment. MY husband called back wow guess what he's on an airplane again. David calls back 5 mins later says that they will deliver my stuff tomorrow. Says that I will have to pay extra because we are making them make a special trip down to Florida. After telling him off about finally said whatever you'll have your money for the move but not until you get here. After arguing he finally agreed. I wasnt about to forward anything to his bank account. April 9th finally about 7 pm they show up. Before I could even get the door open they were demanding the money. I asked for the reweight tickets because they were claiming that I had more weight. I doubted that what I had was as much as they were saying because I took much less than expected. They told me that they didnt have to furnish me with that because they had sent copies to MOVING COST INC. After arguing a while finally gave in because at least it was finally here. When I handed him the money and he counted it things got kinda crazy. I only gave hime the cost of the move plus the extra weight that we supposibly had. After lots of arguing, calling of the mysterious DAVID(who was acually not on a airplane for them) and their threats of putting my stuff back in storage ect. They finally agreed. I refused to sign a new contract and made them after only about hour agree to the terms of their original contract. 3 hours later truck was finally unloaded.
