These evaluators obviously are not very good ones, because it is against ICA contracts to reveal what business the mystery shop companies deal with. They should have their contracts axed by all the companies so other shoppers can have the chance to do the shops. And news does spread amongst schedulers. The issue should be with the mystery shop company not the business, at least not in this case. Is anyone really that dense to think that every carpet can be made to look like new again, when it sounds like the rug being cleaned was a gross, nasty mess? And Yorkies do shed, I have one. That is what you are to report, is that you were dissatisfied, that is why the mystery shop companies have you do the eval. They do not guarantee you are going to like the outcome. You take the chances when you accept the assignment. If Chem Dry comes in and says you need to pay more, you simply say no.

Hi, I see you think I was wrong in my ripoff statements. If you would look at the rebuttal I just wrote to Cheryl Pittiglio you will see the 8 lies that Cherly Pittiglio of Short Stop Chem dry wrote in her rebuttal. Lie #1 There was no dog feces . No hair all over the place, I have a Yorkie that does not shed. There was her dog treat(a little milkbone that she hids and then eats later in the day), I accepted Short Stop to come out and do the shop and was quoted $99 on the phone and then she tried to scam me by saying the house would cost me $300. I paid her $125 to do 3 rooms and she did only the pathways around the bed and used just the mop and hand sprayed some stuff. She did not deodorize and only used one pad to wipe up 3 rooms. I am Gold Certified and proud of the work I do. I have received all 10's on my reports from the 20 or so companies I work for. I do not scam people. I was not happy with the job she did but my report was accurate and no false statements in it. My problem was with Adam Valdez and Franchise Compliance because they never paid me. I have filed a report with a company through the FBI since this was done on the Internet. If I get any satisfaction I will let you know. In the meantime I would appreciate it if you would not be thinking and posting that I did not do my job as an evaluator correctly. Are you Gold or Silver certified? You would know what integrity that takes to get that certificate. Please put a rebuttal to clear my name.

You said:Before you revealed you were a mystery shopper we toured your home together where it was determined with a black light evaluation your carpet was heavily soiled with dog urine, dog feces, dog vomit hardened in the carpet, loads of dog hair & dog food in just about every corner of every room. (Remember you stating your dog liked to hide his food??) ( This is lie #1. There was NO FECES in the house. The dog is housebroken and 7 years old. If there was urine it was from 12 years ago when we had a dog but the rugs have been shampooed in the past. Once was by ChemDry. Lie #2 There was no dog food all over. Our Yorkie likes to hide his treat which he gets once a day and hides it and eats it later in the day. Lie #3 We have a 7 year old Yorkie and every dog lover will tell you that Yorkies do not shed so there was no hair all over the place. #3 You also stated your carpet was over 40 years old( Our home is 40 years old but the carpet is about 20 years old. ) #4 Your sister quoted me $100 to do 3 rooms and that is what I expected. You came in and tried to scam me with you could not clean the room for less than $300. The first quote given was well over $300 to restore your carpet though Chem-Dry well above the allowance given by corporate headquarters for your mystery shop. It was also discussed at this time stains & spots are two different thingswe try very hard to get every stain but in this situation & just like it states on the work order you signed not all pet stains can be guaranteed. Lie #5. It was at this time you revealed you were a mystery shopper & you just wanted to take advantage of the money allowed for free services. I did not tell you I was a mystery shopper until you were finished with the work.
lie #6 Not only did you want free services to clean & restore your old carpet full of dog stains but you also asked us to clean your full-room-size area rugs & you wanted this service thrown in as well.( Since you only did the living room and the path around the bed I asked if you could do the area rug which is 5' x 7'. I would have paid you if you said yes. Lie #7 I overheard you talking to your sister on the phone in the kitchen who also does the mystery shopper programs offered on the internet, I heard you tell her that you would mark are score card down if we didnt clean the rugs for free. (How could I say I would mark you down if I didn't get it for free when you had me pay you in full by check or cash not credit card which I could have disputed before you even started. If you would have looked at the report I did not mark you down. I told the truth on every answer. It was a good report. You were late and you tried to charge me extra but that was not put in the report. I said nothing wrong against you. I am GOLD CERTIFIED and your remarks make me sick. Lie #8 When we left that day your carpet was cleaner than its been in a long time you said so yourselfwe applied all the proper cleaning solutions, presoaked stains, scrubbed the dirt, sanitized & deodorized way more than the $125 allowed by the mystery shopper program. (You did not use the scrubber and did not use a deodorizer. Your sister wanted you to but you said no.)
The way you treated us (I offered you a Coke or Water. Wasn't that the way you should have been treated even though you came an hour late. So if you want to get a lawyer I would love to see you in court. This was between Franchise Compliance and me but you have printed all these lies and you can say what you want. I have printed the truth! I have pictures of the house before you came because the realtor listed it for me. The house did not stink and was not filthy as you say. I have had people come through and say how nice and clean the house is.

I completed mystery shop for the same company and I still havent gotten paid, I have emailed Julie Bishop several times and I havent gotten a response. I had worked for this company a few years ago and completed a mystery shop and got paid with no problem that this why I completed this carpet mystery shop. My next step is contacting a lawyer (maybe the people that didnt get paid can come together and file a class action suit against this company). I am also going to call the better business bureau and the labor board. I think what you wrote was wonderful and this company is ripping people off. I will try calling the number that you called which was 435-757-5071. I would also recommend sending a certified letter with a copy of your emails, the get then notarized and explain in the letter in detail that you are going to take legal action, report them to the better business bureau and that you would like your payment promptly. I hope this helps I am contacting my lawyer and the above agencys tomorrow.
Good luck!!
Plaese let me know what happen you can email me at (((ROR redacted)))
Thanks

I realize that this particular Mystery Shopper for Chem Dry/Franchise compliance was clearly in the wrong in both how she has conducted herself as an evaluator and how she expects more than a normal paying customer. I have been an evaluator for 6 years full time. I was ripped off by franchise compliance for the Chem Dry shop. I take great pride in my reports and the fact I am trusted to give my fair and unbiased opinion of the situation.
I was taken by Franchise compliance and Adam Valdez for this exact scenario in Teas. It seems that Mr. Valdez has struck in many states and has cheated many people out of their hard earned money. I was to be reimbursed for my cleaning as well as 18.00 postage to overnight solution to the company for further inspection. My suggestion is to band together for a class action suit against both franchise Compliance as well as chem Dry/Harris for fraud. These issues apparently have been happening before I accepted the job and it is now clear that there was never an intention to ay my reimbursement as promised. on my shop log a 10 bonus was listed for such a great job as well as being on time and complete. So what kind of crap is that? This is fraud. I had done an evaluation for the Franchise Compliance one other time for a Bathtub installing company and was paid in full within 90 days. I used this to make the decision to accept the position for such a large amount. A Company that uses past experiences to build trust with no intention to pay is fraud in the worst way. I am disabled and live on a very limited income. I use these evaluations to pay for my medications not covered by y insurance. This is a huge expense that I could not afford and services I would not have been able to afford without the promise of reimbursement. So please do not put all of the evaluators in the same category. Many others have been ripped off by this same company and did the job as asked and did a good job.I have waited since feb 10 for the reimbursement. this amount is equal to 1/6 of my total monthly income. That hurts more than you will ever know.

Mrs. Maryann Tuszynski of Warren, you write I was contacted by Franchise Compliance to do a mystery shop audit of Short Stop Chem-Dry in Clinton Twp, Michigan. This is a true statement; you were not hired by Short Stop Chem-Dry you in fact were hired by Franchise Compliance.
You also wrote I was to get paid $125 for doing this mystery shop plus postage for the solution I had to send in. This is a partially true statement. The way mystery shops work through Chem-Dry Corporate is Chem-Dry gives the mystery shopper an allowance towards services needed. In many cases the allowance doesnt cover all services requested, in other words customers may need additional things done over the amount of the allowance. This is where things began to unravel that day we cleaned for you Before you revealed you were a mystery shopper we toured your home together where it was determined with a black light evaluation your carpet was heavily soiled with dog urine, dog feces, dog vomit hardened in the carpet, loads of dog hair & dog food in just about every corner of every room. (Remember you stating your dog liked to hide his food??) You also stated your carpet was over 40 years oldThe first quote given was well over $300 to restore your carpet though Chem-Dry well above the allowance given by corporate headquarters for your mystery shop. The way you treated us & admittedly what you have been doing for years to other businesses including my fellow area Chem-Drys is shameful to say the least. This is not about a few stains left behind you said yourself you were short saleing your home & didnt care about your carpet your realtor was outside waiting on us to leavewhat this is really about is Free Services & taking advantage of unsuspecting businesses in the area. We work hard & we specialize in Pet Urine/Odor removal but we cannot offer our services for free!
I would just like to say one more thing Mrs. Tuszynski, what really is bull crappy is you claiming internet fraud. If that isnt the "pot calling the kettle black!!" I wouldnt sleep well at night if I thought I did something dishonest or someone was mad at me but I do get angry when I feel black mailed or bullied. Using the internet to sabotage businesses you cant take advantage of borders criminal. I would ask you to stop contacting my company & to stop slandering my company. Im gathering all your false comments on various websites for your slandering remarks & will take this up with you in the court system if it continues. Let this note on rip-off reports serve as my first request & the slandering comments you made on my Facebook business page as my second request to cease & desist & refrain from slandering my companys name going forward. Chem-Dry Corporate did pay Franchise Services the company that hired you the agreed upon $125 & they have proof showing payment. Please contact the folks that hired you for your payment. Short Stop Chem-Dry welcomes mystery shoppers when done fairly & honestly we welcome constructive criticism so we can improve on our serviceshowever; we will not be intimidated or go down the road of bullying very shameful!
