Frank Sharpo Lenny Johnson cheap and fast divorce scam las vegas , Nevada
I called a number in the yellow pages under cheap and fast divorce on 1-30-12. I spoke with a man who called himself Frank Sharpo. He told me that he could handle my divorce for me for $299.00. I told him there was a chance my husband wouldn't sign the divorce papers and would throw them in the garbage. He said for $599.00 he could guarantee me that even if he didn't sign the papers i my divorce would still go through. He said he would take care of everything, all i had to do was sign the papers and mail them back to him and he would do the rest. Then i received an email saying they needed me to print out a receipt authorizing them to take the money out of my checking account and it was not for $599.00. It was for $734.00. At this point i had a bad feeling so i googled Frank Sharpo. To my chagrin there was a ripoff report on him from another woman who had had a similar experience with him. She claimed he ripped her off too.
So on 2-2-12, I called the number I was given and I spoke to the lady that answered and I told her my radiator in my car needed replaced and I needed my money refunded because my car was top priority over divorce. She said that she would have to check with accounting since I had already paid in full and she doubted the money could be refunded, but she would call me back. Guess what? She never called back. Everything I read in the rip off report was coming true, but it was too late. They have my money. I am unemployed, they took $734.00 out of my checking, they won't refund it. I am sick inside that this has happened to me. Then I get this email saying here is the divorce documents you requested. Fill them out and sign them in front of a notary. I am not a lawyer, I don't know how to fill out this stack of papers I printed out. Frank Sharpo assured me that I would not have to do anything. They would handle the leg work. I wouldn't even have to go to court.
So today I called the 800 number Frank Sharpo is listed under. I spoke with a woman and I told her everything I am saying in this email. She transferred me to Frank Sharpo. As soon as I began explaining my problems I am having with this whole nonsense, he didn't say another word, just transferred me back to the original woman. I was put on hold for several minutes, just like the other woman said in her rip off report. I already knew they just wanted me to go away, so I hung up and called right back. The same woman came on the line and as soon as I told her it was me she hung up on me! So I called right back. Frank Sharpo got on the line again. I said Frank, I have contacted an attorney and he says we probably have a case for you misrepresenting yourself and not refunding my money. Then I hung up on him before he could hang up on me again. I have an appointment with a real attorney Thursday, February 16th. I pray he says he can help me because I would spend every dime I have to see these scammers punished so they can't do this to anyone else.

Sorta like, when you make a vow that you will stay with someone forever, till death do you part, and all that jazz? Gotcha.
BTW, do you have kids? Does your husband beat you, or what?
