This is a company that called offering a 2500.00 credit line for a new credit card. Initial fees of $221.95 would include initial set-up fee, additional card fee, one-time activation fee and annual charges. They ask that you chose a date, and they will debit your checking account whenever it is "convenient for you". After I had given them the information, I inquired as to whether or not they were a member of the Better Business Bureau and was assured that they were and even gave me a membership confirmation number!!!

After checking with the BBB and not being satisfied with the information I had found, I tried to call the company back. The first two DAYS I did not receive and answer, just a message that kept repeating, "Try your call again later". Finally I got through, and explained that I was not happy with what I had learned about they're company and that I would like to cancel. Not only did she argue my wish to cancel, she screamed "Fine, I'll cancel it!" and hung up on me. The payment wasn't even supposed to go through for about a week after that.

They tried to put it through the NEXT DAY! I just received a notice from my bank, so I've been trying to contact the company again, but to no avail. Now I not only had to pay a $25.00 fee to the bank, I also have to pay a $25.00 stop-payment fee incase they try to cash my check again. Now I'm out the fifty buck, have no credit card and feel like a fool. I'm not even going to try to contact them again, because I'm calling long distance to sit on hold, which is costing me more money!!!

I received a phone call from Freedom Resource offering me a credit card with a limit of 2500.00 along with free gas, free groceries, free cell phone, free satallite dist all for just 221.95 which would be deducted from my account. I asked the girl if I could mail in the money and she said no, I was really not sure of the comany, I just did not feel right about giving them my account number, so while on the phone I connected up to the internet and looked up freedom resource and found out that they were dishonest and were a rip off scam. She kept telling me how good the company was and it would get me back on my feet if I had bad credit, she went into her personnel financial situation with me and explained that freedom resource is helping get her on her feet. Please check into the company before you give them any kind of information. I did and I am greatful, believe me it sounded great especially right before christmas, but just think now I can take that 221.95 and go christmas shopping.

I got called the other day from Freedom Resorces offering me a visa card of credit line limit of 2500.00 and 221.95 that would be debited from my account on the day i choose that would best for me.

They stated the membership fee of 221.95 would be a one time thing. Not really thinking that this was a scam i went a head and gave all the required infomation. After i got off the phone i began to realize this was a definate ripp off scam, and others i spoke to about it also told me it definatley was.

I want to stop this before it's to late. Before i lose money that i can't afford to lose.

I'm very pissed off any company could get away with this kind of thing
