My experience with Frenchy's Auto Repair has not been good: I took my vehicle in for a thermostat replacement which the part cost $38 (retail dealer price) and they charged me $289 plus tax.
I had to complain, wait for her (Leah) to call (where she got the part from) and then give me my cash back! Good thing I checked out the real-price. I have always found what they charge for parts to be 50% to 200% higher than the actual dealer retail prices and when asked why - Frenchy replied: "Well I guarantee the parts which is why I charge more for them." But his warranty is the same as the original parts company.
Finally I liked the work performed which was solid (even after the over-charging situation) but decided to bring my own parts in one day and then I was cursed out and told to leave their repair shop. Yes...very unprofessional indeed. FYI, there is a class action suit pending with 31 people involved. If you need the law firm’s name...contact me.
