Pulled into a flying J truck fueling station was approached about my front tire. Was shown that the tire was worn and warped. I was also told that the age of my tires were old since I had just started on a cross country trip and I decided to replace all 6 tires. I was quoted 460.00 per tire I figured this was a little higher but I was stuck in the boondocks.
Two weeks later I had tire pressure checked as they seemed to be losing air. Boss tire shop found the problem on my rear dual. I showed them my receipt and he said that was an outrageous price for truck tires, especially for off brand TOYO tires. The total price was 4023.76.
I realize everyone deserves to make a profit but this rip off is over the top. The salt lake tribune has reported on this station last year, they were fined.
