I ordered 1-Giant Tomato Tree in March 7, 2002 on the internet from Gardeners Choice. Gardeners Choice debited my credit card for $8.68 (6.98 + 1.70 S&H) then emailed me a confirmation giving me confirmation #1755 on March 23, 2002. I waited for delivery of my tree.
When my tree had not arrived by May 2002 I found a phone number for this company and began calling. When I finally reached someone I was told that it was a seasonal item and was only shipped during the season in which it would need planted. Still having some time to plant, however late in the season for Texas, I continued to wait.
In August I, again, called numerous times and was unable to reach anyone. I have emailed Gardeners Choice numerous times and have never received an answer. It is May 2003, I still have not received my purchase and have had no correspondence from Gardeners Choice about my purchase.
My purchase of $8.68 is small so money is not the big issue what is the issue is this company is lining its pocket with money from its consumers and not delivering their merchandise. I consider this out and out fraud. This company should be held accountable under the law for fraudulent business practices.
It is my hope in filing this report that potential consumers to this company will choose not give them thier business.
