My mother got an alert on her laptop yesterday saying that she had a virus and needed to call "Miscrosoft" customer service. My mom called the phone number that was PROVIDED with the message and they transferred her to a company claiming to be "Cysco" and then they claimed to transfer her to Geek Backers. Geek Backers gained remote access on her computer and claimed to have removed the virus, installing software on it. Upon her telling me about all this, I was a bit uneasy, so I called the REAL Microsoft Customer Service and THEY CONFIRMED IT'S A SCAM. Stay away from them-DO NOT EVER USE GEEK BACKER LLC!
