On April 19th I was vacationing in California from Washington,  Geico sent Courtesy Roadside service to jump start my mercedes. They plugged a jump start machine directly to my battery under the carseat, instead of attaching it to the unit under the hood. It states on the battery not to jump start from battery and refused to do it properly. It blew out my electrical system and and all dash controls, etc.. which they sent another tow company out to get it going. They advised me of the damage they had done.  I had to leave the car in Calif and fly back to Wa. to take care of my house and animals. I was dealing with Geico advising them of the situation and they advised me they would handle it. They advised me to drive the vehicle to a dealer. So while my daughter was driving the vehicle to the dealer over 30 miles away the car overheats as there is no longer any warning lights to let me know. The car breaks down and the car is now towed to Silver star mercedes. So the vehicle is now at the dealer. so one month goes by then two months go by No answers. I get a report fro the mechanic that the head gasket blew and there for the engine blew up. With lots of mis communications with Geico as no one knows whats going on. I spoke to a few people who said the claim is in two different deapartments and well be covered, that I need to come to Calif immedialty to handle it as the car is mine. I borrow a car and drive for 27 hours spending over $450 in gas, spending over $750 in hotel bills. But I was told I would be reinbursed. As I instructed them I was disabled and living ON social security and couldnt afford these expenses.  So I arrive on June 1st get a hotel until I ran out of money. Still I couldnt get any answers. So Now I am living in my car sleeping with my four dogs and No food. I am now eating at a homeless shelter as I have no money.  So finally on June1 5th after leaving about 25 phone calls and numerous Phone calls I get the answer the claim was denied on JUne 5th due to as they can not prove what damaged the electrical system, and the head gasket is a maintence item. Well head gaskets dont get replaced for maiteance. So As I am being strung along and have used all my money for all my travel expenses. Waiting for reinbursement I am could not make the car payments. I get a call fro the dealer that the car has been reposed. I no longer have a car at all because of Geico. My $5000 down plus 1/2 years of payments at $232 a month. They took over 3 months to process my claim which is illegal and I want my money back what I have into my car. I have to walk everywhere and I have had multiple back surgeries , need hip surgery and this is unfair.
