I'm an over the road truck driver. I am normally only home a couple days every other week. Giltner hired me and told me about there lease program and you get 73% of each load and they would get %23. They will deduct the truck payment, fuel, and insurance. The Giltner recruiters said if I worked hard I could make $10,000 a month. I started driving on the 13 April 2016 and worked till may 9,2016. I had 1 1/2 days off between Those dates. I did 9 loads in the time. I also got paid twice once on April 22, 2016 for $175.00 and on May 6, 2016 for $169.00. I was only paid for 3 loads in that 2 week period when I did 6 before the May 2, 2016 cut off date to turn in the load papers. I did three loads after May 2,2016. Of course I had to quit because I on the road and have to eat at truck stops, and restaurants. Because when I do my taxes I get to write off $47 a day for being on the road. I probably spend $25-35 day on the road and when I make $169 every two weeks I can't cover my food expenses or home expenses. If I worked as a company driver at the miles they paid me for on the two paychecks 2,999 miles (which all the loads was 6700 miles) at .35 pm- .65pm I would have been paid $1,045.65- $1,945.35. This is what doesn't make any since to me because if a company driver make $1,000-$2,000 in three weeks and an owner operator or lease operator in the Giltner program can't make more than $350 in three weeks. They also say they have a $500 sign on bonus that you get half the first day of load and the other half with first paycheck (which was $175 was the total of first paycheck) and never got that and had one load on that paycheck and they said the deductions was greater then how much the truck made so they had to use the sign on bonus so there wasn't a negative. This company shouldn't get away with this. I was in an automatic truck that had $100,000 miles on it and the payment they deducted was $3050 a month (which is super high since it's not a lease to own program.) I don't get how they could do this, I'm away from home from my family to make money when Giltner is just taking all my money where I can't afford to be on the road or at home. This is wrong and put a lot of stress and headache on me and my family.

Not one but of information you have given is true why lie because youre not a trucker. Only way you not making money is because youre an idiot. Oh and per diem is 63.00 a day you write off on quarterly taxes. And its lease to own. And that isnt your payments for truck. Jesus i could go on forever.
