G/J Towing Scam for Towing Company; ripoff for you Revere, Massachusetts
What a contract!! They troll the parking spaces in an adjacent public lot in the Quincy Marina Bay complex.
They tow about 150 yards to a "hangar" building that you can WALK to from the lot. There are NO signs in this enormous lot. Restaurant vendors don't know "who tows" there. They just say helpful things like "Yeh, they tow a lot around here." The hangar is in a low lit, isolated area in a boat yard, next to bunch of bars. Again NO SIGN on the building. They only raise the door when they hear you coming. TOTAL SCAM.
CHARGES: $90 for the tow. $7 for gas (!) and $35.00 "storage fee" for the day.
For the 40 minutes it took me to find my car, I was charged $132.00.
Personnel are RUDE, too. Matt (last name unknown) said I needed to talk to Brian (also last name unknown) to find out more info. No phone #. Big envelope of cash there. Didn't offer to have anyone walk me to the area, despite my safety concerns (female alone at night). Just jerks all around.
