We rented the basement suite at 129b ave nw Edmonton from Gloria klopfstein because it was fairly cheap. Upon living there for a few weeks we discovered that there was a leak coming from the shower and the water was running into the drywall. There is black mold and mushrooms growing out of the wall! We informed her of the problem and she told us it would get fixed. Now three months later nothing has been done about it. She claims she has had plumbers in the house to look at it. We live there and we know that nobody has done a thing to it. She is a lying sack of crap who always seems to have an excuse. Her excuse is the plumbers are looking for a custom part! A custom part for what!? She uses UN qualified people. Why should I have to walk past black mold for three months? Any respectable landlord would have that taken care of.
I'm pretty sure that the suite is illegal. And then there is the mouse infestation. I have killed well over thirty mice since moving in. Why should I be the one that has to take care of this bullshit in a rental house. I have threatened to move out in three weeks if the problems aren't fixed. So when I leave because obviously she won't fix this stuff I'm going to have to just forget about my damage deposit. But I will be sure to get the propper authorities in the conem this house.
Please please nobody rent from this lying woman. I wish I would have doney research first. Her houses are a health and safety risk and she is a waste of skin.

I also have fell victim to Gloria, she had asked for our damage deposit before we signed the lease to "hold" the house. After doing so she conned me out of the money and never even gave me the 1300 dollars back 3 days after she was supposed to give me the keys. I have took her to court and won but now need her bank and branch number to garnishe her bank account. But since I paid the deposit through e-money transfer I have no bank info on her. If anyone can help or know this information I could finally be done with this loser!
