I bought 2 items from their online auction. Goodwill made a mistake and only sent me 1 item I had ordered and another I had not. They then contacted me and demanded I return the other item without providing a return label or address. I then said no, stating consumer law (that if a business sends you a product, you are not liable for it) and postal law, a package came to my address, it is solely mine. The manager then came back and said that they knew that, but were banning me becasue of that.
I tried contacting the local Attorney General and the BBB, which got me nowhere but runnaround answers, and Goodwill blaming me.
Stay away from Goodwill, at least this one. I was dumbfounded when I did simple searches about them and their actions, claims, and lawsuits against them.
Goodwill will break the law by any means and get away with it simply because they are a "charity."
