Gourmet Ads is a completely fraudulent ad network! We spent well over $100,000 advertising with Gourmet Ads and theor owner Benjamin Christie (Chef Ben) and received so much fradulent publisher traffic that we had to block their entire network.
Gourmet Ads is an ad network every food related advertiser needs to steer clear of! Benjamin Christie is a former chef and Gourmet Ads has a nice website, but don't be fooled. We estimate that well over 85% of their publisher network is full of fradulent web publishers.
This is what GourmetAds.com says on their site: "Since 2008 our publishing team have hand-picked the websites that make up the Gourmet Ads Network. Our goal for advertisers is to curate the best food, cooking and recipe content online, whilst providing an efficient and easy way to reach grocery buyers in one single media buy."
Rest assured if you are a media buyer, a food industry advertiser, you are best served by staying as far away from Gourmet Ads, the GourmetAds.com website, and its owner Benjamin Christie. They are based in Australia so keep in mind if you do not heed this warning you will have little to no recourse.
Gourmet Ads wrote a recent blog post about "Zero Tolerance For Fraud" but we can tell you that they have done little to nothing to ferret out the overwhelming fraud not only within their own ad network but on their own owned and operated sites.
My advice is to look elsewhere for food related advertising and steer clear of GourmetAds.com
