On 2/21/16, we responded to a door-to-door salesman of Kirby vacuum cleaners. After a free carpet cleaning, we decided to make the purchase. We were pleased with the results. The deal of 2 Kirby vacuums with shampoo attachments seemed too good to be true at the time, but we thought we would gift our daughter and son-in-law with the second one. They gave us the vacuum cleaners but we were told that the shampoo attachments had to be ordered and that they would be delivered to us within 7-10 days. It has been nearly a month and we haven't heard from anyone with GPD Promotion Systems, Inc. or Kirby.
The only contact we've had is with the finance company confirming the sale and asking if we were satisfied. We reported to them that we had not received the shampoo attachments as we were promised and we were told that they would make a note of that in their records. We have attempted to contact GPD Promoton Systems, Inc. on the telephone number written on the contract (785-266-2455), but the recording says the mail box is full. There is no website or email address listed on any of the paperwork. We are very disappointed and believe that we made a huge mistake in purchasing this product. We have always heard good things about Kirby, but now we wonder if this is just a very expensive ripoff at that.
