This sales person is lieing. We have been ripped off by the sales staff and owner services of this company. They do not try to do right by the customer. The sales people lie to the customer. We were lied to by the sales people and the owner services are not going to do right by us. The owner services staff are very disorganized. This is a very bad company to do business with.

Dear Consumer, I have been a sales professional for Surrey Vacation Resorts, dba Grand Crowne Resorts, Inc. That is the full name of our company. I have been with them for 6 years. Grand Crowne has several different programs and products in addition to their deeded timeshare properties that they have offered over the years. The one you purchased was a Vacation Club program that offers discounts in travel. My developer started that program to supplement the travel needs of our current property owners providing additional surplus inventory vacation property weeks at discounted prices and other travel savings. It was sold also at a separate location as an alternative to those guests who were not able to afford a deeded property ownership but wanted travel savings as the club membership alone is about half the cost of our property deeds. I can assure you that my company adheres to all the states attorney generals office regulations regarding sales procedures and practices. I know this because I had to sign a contract upon employment in sales with them acknowledging that should I in any way misrepresent the company or it's product that it would be grounds for immediate termination and possibly legal prosecution. Over the years, It has been my misfortune to find out that there have been sales people we've employed who were not honest about what they were selling and those sales people have always, upon the company finding out and verifying that they were in fact lieing, been terminated and prosecuted. The company has also done whatever has been necessary to make right by the consumer any time there has been a verified quality assurance issue. Since I personnally have not been involved in your circumstances that I am aware of, it is possible that you are simply confused about what you purchased and you are not contacting the right people within our organization for assistance as we are a large company in Branson and have many different departments. If you are in Branson, the very best thing for you to do is to come to the preview center on green mountain drive and ask for help there. Someone will direct you where you need to be to get this issue resolved for you. To the general public, In my years of service to the owners at Grand Crowne Resorts, it has been by far the concensus that what we offer and how we handle our owners is very well liked and appreciated. On the rare, and it is rare, occassion that I come accross and owner or consumer who is not happy it is generally a simple misunderstanding of what they bought and just giving them a little time and showing I care about their concerns is all it takes to get them back on the right track and loving their vacation ownership. All companies have their hiccups, and with a company that is the largest most established company in Branson, MO and one of the top 25 sales producing resorts in our system throughout the world we too are not perfect, but as I tell all of my owners.... If there is a problem 99.9% of the time we can fix it, but if we don't know about it we can't help. Thank you. sincerely, April Vacation Advisor for the In House Department Proud Employee

I think Marge from Maine was not fully aware or her surroundings. I bought at this location in May of 2001 and have been back and also have used this location for trades to other places. They have bent over backwards to help novices such as me to get the most out of this purchase. Has she tried talking directly to their marketing agency that is on site? Perhaps she is not aware of all this is available on timeshares.

Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Letter after Letter, Attorney in Missouri, AARP, Attorney General Office were all contacted and to no avail. We're in our 70's and no one seems or wants to help us. Now what?
