Susan, you're very correct about Grant Funding Search... They did the exact same thing to us... My girlfriend and I paid $1.98 to get the Grant Funding packet and application that was promised. We were only advised that all that we would have to pay is $1.98, and the product would arrive within 1-3 business days. After more than two weeks of waiting, all that showed up was a CD, and some junk offers from Grant Fund Search. There was no packet, no $120.00 FREE gas voucher for joining, nothing. I got back from my business trip, and found that my girlfriend's card was charged an additional $69.95 plus an extra $25.00 Non-Sufficient Fund fee. We both attempted numerous times to contact Grant Funding Search, only to get hung up on before anybody answered the phone. My girlfriend had finally gotten a hold of them, and they adamantly boasted, "We're not refunding the amount of $69.95 or the $25.00 fee." We cancelled the account with them, and that's when the additional charges came in. This was an unauthorized transaction, and Grant Funding Searched used a government search engine to conduct their scam. The website that ends in .com isn't a government website, but they used the government's search engine nevertheless. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED FROM MAKING MORE SCAMS, AND THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO BE MORE WATCHFUL OF WHO THEY ALLOW TO USE THEIR SEARCH ENGINES. IT'S AS BAD AS IF SOMEBODY WERE TO POST A SCAM ON CRAIG'S LIST!!! Thanks for reading! Steve V. Amiee P.
