I am a former employee of Grantham and I am floored with the disrespect and unorganization of this diploma mill of a company. For the people who are reading this, please don't feel that this is an act of revenge...because it's not. I assure you that all I am reporting the actual and factual TRUTH!! I have first hand knowledge of the day to day happenings of Grantham University. Miltary Students PLEASE realize that you are "used" for your Enrollments ONLY!!

Grantham gets Paid $9,000 per student for the time you are with this travesty of a school. Students if you notice you will find that "Student Progress Representives" only call when it is time for you to re-enroll, and now that the rule has changed for extensions (only 15 day extentions) the ultimate culprit is money.

Please be aware that Grantham University is only Nationally Accredited and NOT Regionally Accredited. Do your research accordingly, because when it comes to finding a job and transferring credits-they will not be honored by other schools. Only a few colleges take Grantham credits..(hint hint) Grantham is located in Kansas City and prominent universities in the same area DO NOT and WILL NOT take Grantham's credits.

Most people in this area don't even know who the hell Grantham is. I was with Grantham for over 6 months and after 90 Days employees can attend school with Grantham for free. I never did, because I knew this school was a total joke, and none of my credits would transfer locally or statewide.

Grantham is located in a teenage filled "strip mall" called "Zona Rosa" which they are currently renting. This is not a stable school, and just realize that Grantham University has no "campus", they are located right next door to "Victoria Secret" and "Hot Topic" as well as the robot controlled managers favorite "Coldstone Creamery".

How do you feel knowing that your so called pick for higher education, Grantham University's staff eats Coldstone while waiting on your tuition Assistance to come through on the Fax machine?(Hmmmmmm) It's disgusting to hear managers/team leader such as Lisa McCann, George Colon and Bobbi Klobas holler across the room for "More Enrollments please" as if we are working for a car dealership, fighting for commission. I always treated all of "My" students with dignity and respect and I feel that your money is being taken for the financial gain and worth of several individuals in upper management.

No student at Grantham has ever had the same Student Progress Representative. Ever! This is due to the constant termination and resigning of employees. I use to get dozens of complaints from disgusted students about the lack of customer service one would recieve when calling into Grantham fopr help.

Team Leader Bobbi Klobas talks to Grantham students outside of work and forms relationships with different men allt the time. Bobbi and I talked a lot while at work, and she told on several occassions that several male students would send her email on MYSPACE for conversation! Believe me they are not talking about the weather. So you have management chatting with students outside of work which isn't suppose to be tolerated. You gotta love Grantham!!!!:-)

The majority if not ALL of Grantham instructors have other jobs besides being a Grantham instructor. Which would account for all the complaints that Grantham recieves about Instructors NOT responding to students in a timely manner. Students go up to 120 days or more without having grades posted and that is ridiculous being that its suppose to be a "online" school. Yeah right!

This so called establishment has profited greatly because of Hurricane Katrina, and I was told they recieved funds from American Red Cross to move to Kansas City. Most of the managers have late model vehicles and newly bought homes or apartments. Tom Macon brought along approximately 40 Lousiana workers and were put in a one year contract to stay with the company or face paying back thousands of dollars to Grantham. This company has used Kansas City employees greatly, paying only $12.02 per hour and in the last month or so terminating loyal employees only to hire new people in at a cheaper rate.

Grantham is biased in the hiring procedure noting that no family members can work together, although the manager Lisa McCann's 2 daughters work for Grantham as well as Tina Taylor's daughter. This is extremely self serving in my opinion. In the last month, 6 African American employee's have been terminated without warning or notice. This company is a total "fraud" and I wouldn't be at all surprised if one day soon this company is shut down completely! Grantham claims to have 10,000 students but figures show that at least 4000 of those students are inactive or no longer with Grantham period. I was also told that Grantham has a few lawsuits pending because of shady practices.

BEWARE PEOPLE. Don't take my word for it just check it out for yourself. Please do your research before you enroll or reenroll with Grantham. I would hate to see your hard earned money go to a fly by night, diploma mill, used car dealership ran school. Your education should be treated like a Rolls Royce and NOT like a Chevy Nova. There are fantastic online colleges out there that are known to employers all over the world. Grantham is NOT! Don't let your Tuition Assistance, Montgomery GI Bill or paycheck become depleted by a B-List school. Grantham isn't going to mean anything today or the next day. Do the right thing people. I am sure there will be rebuttals from Grantham management but all I say is the TRUTH and the Truth Hurts! Think before you leap!

Hi. I did not work with DeAnn at Grantham; but I did work with her at the University of Phoenix in Tempe, AZ. I can name countless people who would agree that Deann Wandler is only about furthering her own self financially while promoting such dishonest organizations like UOP. Based on what I've read about Grantham, seems she up to the same old thing. She was a manager of an enrollment team at UOP. Funny thing was is that Deann did not even have a bachelor's degree. How can somebody manage a team of people trying to enroll people into a college when they don't even have a degree themselves? Deann used many dishonest tactics, such as lying, falsifying information, and harrassment of her enrollment advisors in order to improve her "numbers." Funny thing was is that despite her efforts, it seemed she didn't have what it took to work at that particular diploma mill, so she transferred elsewhere. In this case, Grantham. What a joke of a university both of these are. I only worked at UOP for a short time because I felt as though I was doing people a disservice by trying to enroll them in such a shady institution. Like Grantham, UOP was also very discriminating against minorities. Well, I could go on and on, and please advise me if you would like to hear more. I can give many other names, situations, and frauds comitted by UOP. If anybody would like to hear, please let me know. Deann Wandler belongs in jail. She is the shadiest of shady characters, and one day she will get what is coming to her. Thanks for your time.

I am a current employee of Grantham University, and yes, even a student. The classes are a joke, as well as the instructors. The only reason I am taking classes is because it is free, and I'm working towards another degree, so I can get my bonus and raise. It's so easy, and it's easy money. What's even more of a joke is the management. It's funny, they are getting rid of the loyal Louisiana employees because they know too much. But, they won't ever get rid of Deann. In fact, ask her how she bought her bmw and her 400k house. I bet you anything, her boyfriend John Ferris (the executive, and probably 20 years younger than her) helped her with that. Drive past her huge house, and you will see his car there. Whatever Deann wants she gets. Even if she is not meeting her "metrics". You can tell she is not meeting them, because she has excuses for everything. It's because I don't have enough trainers, ok, let's get more trainers. I don't have enough managers, ok, let's get more managers. I don't have enough management support, ok, let's create team leaders. I don't have enough free giveaways for my employees, ok, let's give away trips to Mexico. I need Title IV funding, and then I will finally meet my numbers. Now what's the excuse for not meeting the numbers, after that doesn't work???? And let's not forget poor Tom Macon. Tom has such a heart of gold, but he trusts his management staff too much. Just one word- and all of the executives know what it is- it starts with a "R", and it was the official term to get rid of the employees that John Ferris and Pat Campbell didn't want anymore. I guess Noble didn't play very well with Deann. so, Deann had to get rid of him. And Rodney was black, and Deann had to get rid of him too. So, they get rid of the black manager, and bring in a new white manager. How convenient is that? is that why they fired everyone in Human Resources to do damage control, and bring in a new black Human Resources guy? what about the "troublemakers" here in Admissions? The Shay's, Lamesha's? why were they fired? As far as Lisa, Bobbie, and George are concerned, they are still kissing up to the executives. They have to- they bought houses and brought their families up from Louisiana, and can't afford to go back home now. They do not mean to be so brash with the employees. In fact, when no one is looking, you can really talk to them like a normal person, and they act like one to. They only ask for more TA's because their job is on the line, because John Ferris has run the university so far down in the toilet, that they need twice the TA's to make a buck now. (See paragraph 2 regarding Deann's car and house.) On an ending note, let's not forget about the poor Louisiana employees who did not come up here to Missouri. I've read all of the stories and blogs. What's I'm most proud of is that all of these employees are better off since they stayed in Louisiana, and helped rebuild. They have better paying jobs, better benefits, and they didn't fall under the control of Deann WAndler, John Ferris, Pat Campbell, and Tom Macon. Good luck to all ex-employees. Just think about little ole me up here, working my 40 hours a week in Admissions, working 2 hours a week on my studies, so I can get my $5,000 and raise. It's easy money, and the best part is, I can choose to disclose it to future employers, or I can just rip it up.
