Last spring my son watched the famous infomercial with Don Lapre, when he told us this I thought what a scam.
He has been robbed of over 800.00
First started calling immediately for a full refund as they guarantee, and was told that it would be processed in one to two billing cycles. Never could you get in touch with anyone in their accounting office. We called weekly and were told it was put on a high priority to refund the money. Never received a dime. Just 2 weeks ago we called again and were told they were purchased by another company and the refund would be within one billing cycle.
Now it seems they have gone out of business. I don't understand how Don Lapre keeps getting away with these money making scams. Why has the government not cracked down and made him pay. He also says they have great customer service and that all calls will be returned. We left more than 50 messages for Don Lapre, never had a returned phone call.
If anyone out there knows a way to get the money back, please contact us.
