Green River Transmission and Engine Ripoff Stole our truck from under us does not answer calls Green River Wyoming
My husband was driving from Utah to Montana when his engine siezed in Wy and had it towed to Jeff Wharton at the above company. He charged us $500 for removal of the engine and was supposed to be looking for a new used engine. I can't tell you how many times we have called and were left on hold or we called and got a voice mail message stating "Voice mail is full" and were unable to get in touch. Never once did we get a call saying I can't find you an engine so what do you want to do? Not saying ok this is how much an engine is going to cost. Not one call from the business owner. We tried and have phone records to prove we tried calling him. Phone records do not lie, Mr. Wharton does. We then get a certified letter in the mail stating we owe $4067 in storage fees and he is selling our truck to the highest cash paying customer. What?????
As a business owner isn't it YOUR responsibility to communicate with your customers instead of just SELLING their vehicle????? WHy did you not contact us??? We would have removed the vehicle from your lot. Oh yeah, if we did that you would not make money. After doing some research I see 18, yes 18 other vehicles were auctioned off on the same day! 18????
Something is not right here. If you look for Green River Trans on this site you will find 1 other and I am sure if people cared about their vehicles enough and as more people find out there will be other ripoff reports.
