have enrolled for dental insurance for my family through marketplace which includes me, my wife and my 02 children.
My wife had a tooth ache on Jan 29th 2016 and I was trying to book appointment with the dentist. However, I realized that my Wife’s name was not in eligibility list.
I called Guardian and they confirmed that my wife’s name was not in the list and they suggested me to talk to market place.
I called marketplace and they confirmed that my wife is enrolled and they have sent the documents to Guardian. However, Guardian told me that I cannot use the insurance for my wife until they add my wife to insurance.
I had to make several calls to request them to fix. I never received any communication and follow up
Finally on Mar 29th, when I logged into the portal, I saw my wife’s name added and premium was charged w.e.f 1/1/2016.
In May 2016, I found that they overcharged my credit card where I had to request them to cancel my policy and refund my entire premium as I was not able to use insurance for my family when needed.
However, till date I have not received any communication from Guardian.
