You have to realize that HH Gregg buys its products from a manufacturer also so it has nothing to do with them standing behind their products. As is everything you purchase everywhere it is all made by someone or something so problems can arise no matter what, 100 other people could have bought the same product from HH Gregg and had no problems, so you are the unlucky one that got a defective unit. HH Gregg had no real obligation to assist you at all but they did everything they could to get you assistance and get you to people who can help with your problem. As for ordering parts it is absurd to believe that any company anywhere can keep replacement parts for every product they sell. It is fair to say you were upset that you unluckily got a bad product so you decide to slander a company the Consumer Reports states " will bend over backwards to assist a customer" and it is very true. Unfortunately HH Gregg didn't build your tv, they just sold you it, and yes its a good product which they stand behind unfortunately some go bad. I just took my Chevy to the mechanic last week, and I'm not upset with Chevy that I had to pay for some repairs because they don't stand behind their cars. So be realistic about the statements you make.

It sounds to me like HH Gregg is a small time TV/Appliance dealer who doesn't want to carry the stock of a new bulb. Since the bulb is one of the more expensive components of a projection TV (I'm assuming that's what it is) they don't want to spend any capital on inventory where it will just sit. It's too bad you have to deal with this especially on a TV that is so expensive, and broke so soon. I'd probably cause more of a fuss about this in their store where their customers could hear me. I hope everything gets fixed soon, and you can go back to enjoying your new purchase.
