Harrison Career Institute - HCI got paid and did not give me my certifacate and license Jersey City, New Jersey
Harrison Career Institute made too many promises and it was all lies. I was told that i will acquire a great education with a job waiting for me and get my certifications with the license, however all was not true. Poor teaching, poor lack of equipment for training purposes and most of all no certification. They received the financial aid I was approved for and my credit is ruined. I called the financial aid and they said they can't help me and for me to pay it off right away. I was promised a job after graduation however no work was available without a license and certification, which I never received.. I kept talking to Israel and Faith Kallert about my licensing and all they did was give me the run around and the last days before they closed they gave me some login and password to PCCLonline.net and when I went on it the following day there was no access to it. PCCLonline.net had shutdown, and then I went to the school they had shut down as well. I was devistated and felt so upset cause I was really looking forward to get a job so now a year and $8,000+ lost I felt like my world was closed on me. I spent the following years researching making phone calls on how to resolve this, however no one was there to help. Financial aid don't care about peoples life at its destruction peak. My credit its shot I can't go back to school cause I owe already and I am a single mother struggling to live and throuh this financial crisis I am against the wall. I blame HCI for everything that has happened they destroyed my life and they should be punished to the full extent of the law. So I Really hope the government looks into this and help all of us who have gotten ripped off and their lives ripped apart.. I really hope there is help out there.

OMG I cant believe how many people they were ripping off...I am a mother of 5 children and I can't even buy my kids a house. One of my son's is 7 an autisic and he dreams of a beautiful big house with a yard to play in and I want to fulfill his dream and I cant because of Harrison messing up my credit. There has to be something we can do someone please help if you have any suggestions. They told me I was approved for financial aid then they tell me I have to pay a pell grant because I only got approved partially for financial aid..I thought something was funny but I wanted to do better for me kids so I still continued to finish school. They promised me they would find me a job and that it would be so easy ti pay off the loan which is now almost $10,000. This is unbelievable. I wanna get married to and I can't because I will affect my fiance's credit too.. I heard there are some Poll or Pull lawyers in Newark that work for free and if they school went out of business they can help get the loan dropped completely for you but no one ever gave me any contact information. Harrison Career Institute is ruining my life and my kids and also my reputation. I can't even get a good apartment because owners see this on my credit report. Someone please help!! Can i file a law suit against them? I have 2 ill children. One is autistic and the other is emotinally disturbed. I have it hard enough already. To top it all off I was pregnant when I went to this school so I was busting my a** with 2 lil ones and one in the belly waking uo every morning to go to a school that was promising me a great future for my kids. ALL LIES!!!!!!!! THEY COULDN'T EVEN FIND ME A JOB!!!!!! Here I am 7 years later and Im not even working in the Medical Field. SHAME on you Harrison for RIPPING OFF FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG I FEEL FOR YOU,
I AM AS WELL IN THE SAME BOAT AS YOU. MY BOYFRIEND AND SONS FATHER ASKED TO MARRY ME, AND I TOLD HIM NO BECAUSE HE HAS GOOD CREDIT AND MINE IS BAD DUE TO HARRISON CAREER.
I DONT WANT HIS CREDIT TO GO BAD BECAUSE OF WHAT THIS SCHOOL DONE TO ME. I LOOK IN TO MY SONS EYES EVERY DAY AND I CRY OUT BECAUSE I WANT MY SON TO HAVE EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD AND AS HIS MOTHER I CANT GIVE IT TO HIM. I CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL AND CAN'T BETTER MY SELF TO HELP AND BE ONE WITH MY BOYFRIEND TO GET A HOUSE TOGETHER.
THIS SCHOOL LIED TO A LOT OF PEOPLE AND BROKE HEARTS AND DREAMS. NOW ALL WE HAVE IS NIGHTMARES AND ARE ANGRY AND HURT AND UPSET AND OUR DREAMS AND HOPES FOR A BETTER CAREER ARE GONE. THIS IS SO SO SAD THAT SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS BEEN DONE TO US HARRISON STUDENTS. ITS SAD THAT WE LIVE IN THE USA AND WE HAVE PEOPLE TELLING US THERE NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO TOO HELP US.
ITS NOT THERE ISSUE IF HARRISON TOOK THE MONEY OH WELL THEY TELL US. ITS NOT FAIR AT ALL SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE. WHY DOESNT OUR GOVERNMENT HELP US AND STOP PEOPLE WITH COMPANIES LIKE THIS FROM RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. IM IN THE PROCESS OF WRITING A LETTER TO OUR PRESIDENT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS AND GOING TO KEEP ON WRITING MORE AND MORE LETTERS UNTIL SOMETHING GETS DONE.
