Last year in January I went on a cellular plan with my family. I did not like the phone that came with the plan, so I paid extra for a motorola flip phone. In May of the same year I won a Motorola Razr phone. I took it to the store, (expert Communications) and the salesman said that he could not do anything with the phone that it was not on my insurance so he could not even show me how to work it.He also stated that the razr phone was a sorry piece of a phone, and I should let him sell it for me to some idiot customer. I figured it out and ended up using the phone, and I put my other phone away. In October I dropped my razr phone and broke it. I started using my origional phone again until it started getting bad reception. My little brother then let mr use his big bulky Nokia until I could afford the $50 deductible for the insurance on my other phone. I went to the store once to ask the salesman a question about my bill at one time, and evidently he put that bulky nokia on my insurance plan, and it is not even my phone!! This January I went into the store to get my original phone replaced, and he said he could only give me the Nokia back. This irritates me because I paid extra for the flip phone, the Nokia isn't even mine, and he could have put my Razr phone on the plan, and it would have been covered under my insurance. I have called every company that represents the cell phone store, and they said there is nothing I can do.

This phone insurance is a piece of crap. This phone insurance sold by an insurance company to cellular phone companies. When I had SprintPCS service, I had phone replacement insurance, and I had problem with it. When I called their toll free number, first wanted their $50.00 deductable before talk to me about my phone problems. Even I have heard their replacement phones may NOT be the same phone which you already have.
