Heaven Help Us Rescue Lori Klein and Fred Siegenthaler BEWARE !!! This Rescue is not above board happy to show all my paperwork and canceled checks Atascadero, California
This is a rescue for animals . We saw an ad in Oct. 2012 for Donkey's possibly in foal to a Zebra , thatthey were rescued from Hunt Ranch in Texas. I purchased a Z donk from her with the understanding it was broke for small kids to ride.
Laurie told us we had to pay up front for the animal as she had to pay the lady she got her from in another state. So dumb us we did, all $3,800 can show cancled checks written out to her husband Fred. Delivery date on contract was Oct. 20th 2012
Well guess what no Zdonk when I contacted her about it she said they were having truck problems next time they were going to buy a new truck. I finally told her to send my money back, she agreed 2 weeks later no cashiers check. then she said I'll cancel check and wire money. Long story short NO Wire this was near end of Nov. I told her she was a theft . Laurie then said she will not deal with me as I am not nice LOL my daughter d says we are sending a hauler to come get her. Laurie writes back no because your mom may not like her. Guess what that means she is probally NOT Broke at all So we send a friend over there as if she was going to buy something from Laurie we gave her photo's of our Zdonk. She calls and said yes your Z Donk is here and Laurie is trying to sell it to me for $1000 less then you guys paid for her !! WOW so Laurie was going to sell our friend our Zdonk and keep our money and my friends money !!!! Sick person SCAMMER !!!!!!
THINK OF THIS AND SHE RUN A NON PROFIT RESCUE SICK !!!!!
PASS ON THE WORD AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE CONTRACT OF CANCELED CHECKS I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO PRODUCE THAT.
We went on to her place late at night and took our ZDonk Can't wait to try to see if she is broke sure we will be going to court to hope and get our money back

What kind of animal rescue operation PAYS for their animals??? The whole concept behind animal rescue is that they take unwanted animals (at no charge) and transport them to new families. Am I missing something here?
