I purchased a pup from her and got the dog's pedigree and there was no inbreeding of my puppy.
My dog is now 7 years old and she is the best dog I have ever had - she is amazing, so calm and so smart. Inbred dogs are not calm nor or they smart. This I know as my Mother bred English Bulldogs in the 1960s.
Not sure what your beef is but I had no issues with Heidi. In fact she was always having all of her customers over to her house - so it's not like she was avoiding anyone.
You paid for the dog and you took the dog - so if you thought she was not on the up and up - why did you buy the dog?

Iam sorry that you had a bad experience with Heidi. I bought my dog from Heidi 2 years ago, and til this day when i call her she returns my call right away. I dont believe that she inbreeds her dogs, she certainally would not tell you that, while you were in the process of buying one of her puppies. My dog has a wonderful disposition and is beautiful, her dogs do have a beautiful look to them. When i bought my dog 'Sushi', my vet fell in love with her and said he would buy her from me if I decided I did not want her. My only regret is that i did not buy two of them at the time.

I purchased a puppy from Heidi in February 2009. Heidi has beautiful puppies . My puppy is almost 6 months and he is as cute as can be. He was wee wee pad trained from day 1. Heidi was there when I had questions when I first got the puppy. She is an honest breeder and I believe she has a true love for the puppies. I was thinking about getting a puppy for my mother. If I do, I will buy from Heidi.

I am a member of the CID Club and their are certian guidelines regarding breeding the CIDS with other breeds. It is not allowed. If the Shih Tzu is over 9 lbs, we can breed them with anything we want so maybe you don't have all of the information. I do have information on Heidi and I do understand that making money is her #1 priority. But there are many of us that breed for the love of the dog and to better the breed. Breeding is not cheap and if you do it correctly, seldom is there profit. My program is like that right now as I'm doing all kinds of tests to make sure that my dogs are as healthy as can be. I truly love breeding. If Heidi's dogs are inbred, it is because she does not manage her dogs properly. AKC will eventually catch her as they come by for an inspection and swab a litter for parentage. It's just a matter of time. The consumer needs to be more savvy. If you get a bad feeling, walk away.

You stated that the seller told you when you were getting the dog that it was inbred, that her dogs were too small for breeding and that her prices were too expensive YET, (being the SUPER Intelligent person you must be) you STILL paid her and took the dog. Give me a break! You were NOT ripped off. Quite whining about something that was clearly YOUR FAULT!@
