Hello Dental Laboratory is a scheme. It was once known as the sister lab to J.J. Dental, Hello was supposedly a higher quality lab than J.J, however it was in fact one in the same. All cases sent to Hello, were done by the exact same technicians working the J.J cases, using the exact same materials, and exact same techniques. When J.J would lose an account they'd send flyers out from Hello to regain the account without Doctors aware to the fact it was the same exact company, simply operating out of an office literally next door to J.J. Offices C5 and C7 at 4170 South Decatur. When J.J could no longer stand on it's own and was filed for bankruptcy, the owner consolidated accounts into Hello, with the promise of high quality work, with high quality technicians....it all remained the same. Eventually Hello was sold and now operates no better but actually worse. Now technicians Doctors expected to be working on specific cases, are no longer with Hello Dental but to save face and accounts Hello Dental lies and says these technicians do still work there, making up excuses as to why they cannot be spoken with, when inquiry is posed. It gets worse. This lab uses the exact same metal ingots for casting copings regardless of doctor designation for non precious or semi precious work. Not only that, but they turn out fragile gold crowns and bridges by using less gold for the base and compensating with more porcelain to cut costs and pocket the difference. There are no true master techs in Hello Dental because they simply cannot afford to hire any. If you do business with this lab you can expect to sub par work that you absolutely cannot comfortably stake your reputation on using. You will lose patients. It's not a matter of if, but when.
