Henry Goddard Scams a shipping company Chevy Chase, Maryland
We were contacted by Henry Goddard to assist with the importation and delivery of some items from overseas to the United States. Since this is our main line of business, we saw nothing unusual since we do provide proposals to clients all day for these services.
We provided the client with a competitive rate and he confirmed. We processed his credit card, received authorization from the CC Company and upon receipt of funds, began the movement of the goods from origin.
About 3 weeks after sending the initial payments to the forwarder at origin, the credit card company advised that the cards used were fraudulaent (after providing us with authorization and depositing the funds) and of course, the client now will not answer calls or e-mails.
Henry Goddard states that he resides in Miami, FL and Checy Chase, MD.
