I want to buy a laptop with touchscreen i.e., a Table PC with high end so that I can practice OBIEE and Oracle Database on Ms Dynamics RMS.  So, I selected a HP laptop from Open Box from TechBargains - Tech for Less, but it so happen that I was given HP support no. to know the warranty left on the open box on the selected HP product.

I called on 866 no. of HP to enquire about the warranty left on the specific Open Box TM2 HP laptop that is on sale with TechBraings/Tech for Less.  Swamy from HP has originally taken my call and told me that the product's warranty is expired 520 days ago!  He suggested me to take the new one instead of such items which ran out of warranty.  Every thing is fine till now and hats-off to this guy who could understand me and my requirements precisely and pinned down to a brand new HP tm2 model.

Everything is fine till now, was thanking God for such a fascinated notebook that would be mine soon.  Now Swamy mentioned that Sam Boilenger, Supervisor would handle this call for further.  From this point onwards nobody knows what is HP really inside their sales talk, and I was clueless if there would be ever fraud and indecency towards HP customers.

Sam suggested me with tm2 touchsmart with processor i3 with a basic price of $799.99 and taxes with free upgrade of Memory to 8gb, Bluetooth, Blue-ray, etc..  At this point of time, I wanted to take help of my friend to order this and Sam told me that he would be there for next 4 hours and give me a call after 2 hours to arrange these monies for taking the order.  I've spoken to my good friend in VA and arranged the monies through his Credit Card, but Sam was never available neither gave me a call!  There were various people answering my calls at this HP no. and taking down the messages but Sam never returned my calls.  The next day also Sam was not available but one sales person at the same no. tried to help me without these free upgrades, but he asked me to wait for Sam as he couldn't pull up the quote what Sam has given me!  

so the next day ie., 5/3/11 one sales folk by name Satya Livingston has tried to pull the record what Sam has given me and we were running through the order, at this point of time, I come to know that there is another model with i5 processor which costs $100 more so was asking if he can change the processor and charge me the difference, he initially said yes it can be done but later told me that I need to go with i5 with customization model.  Satya told me that he could give me 8gb RAM but not the blue-ray as it is external and would cost me more while blue-tooth is part of the order at no extra charge along with Ms-Office basic.  Now, I asked him if he has to run it with his Supervisor Sam so that I can get the best deal on price and with blue-ray. Here on 5/4/11 Satya told me that he went through the same with Sam and he is giving me the best all this without Blue-ray player but with a Bag at $868.34 and charged my friend's card upon the call with my friend Brahma Reddy, VA and confirmed me that the free upgrade specs. would appear in 24 hours and for shipping address and for any further I need to consult 8889994747 of HP. Which I did and I got shocked as I come to know that I cannot change my shipping address, the specs. are going to come with free upgrade, neither the bag and s/w.. Now I have recordings of the sales confirmation, etc.. but HP is not honoring this Sales commitment neither anyone there recognizes these false sales commitments.  My issue got escalated to Evgar, assigned Case Manager, HP but he is acted less than a telephone operator or a postman service here and culdn't even get the underlying issue where I am coming from, but for everyone involved further sales to cancel the order and go for the fresh order if interested. No one is talking about the sales confirmations and the Supervisor Sam now comes in telephone not the actual sales guy Satya and joins the fraudulent order team and supports them.  Everyone talks respectively but no one owns the responsibility of the issue here including the assigned case manager Evgar; Nancy a Super from Resolution Team tried to escalate my case to their higher management but no one seems to have listening skills. HP promises and validates their sincerity and customer ratings on their products and services through various certificates acquired, but failed in this case to get a right solution and nab these unscrutinized individuals. I have proofs here but what you would do as an individual is what I am doing to see that no body else gets into such agony and dis-heartened.  My project requires the specs, and I could do much so far, I lost my peace for about 5days so far and might have spoken to 25 individuals in HP to get this resolved - No clue!
