Hh Gregg Nobody Seems to Care what happened to customer service? Columbia South Carolina
In May 2007 I purchased a 32 inch Toshiba LCD/DVD combo for a little over $900.00. The TV worked great for a while, then it would intermittently lose the picture, the entire screen would go blank.
I began the process to get the TV repaired, first step they said "replace the cable box" - that didn't fix the problem. So the contract repair shop came out and got my TV and kept it 3 1/2 weeks - spent over $900 on repairs and when it came back home was worse than before.
The TV is still under the 1 year manufacturers warranty. I cannot tell you how many phone calls I have had with hh gregg (one shining star Terry), Toshiba and the visits with local managers - to no avail. My TV is still in the shop. hh gregg says its up to Toshiba, Toshiba waits to hear from the repair shop and no one seems to want to take responsibility. hh gregg had no problem taking my money - it seems like they should stand behind the products they sell, but it appears they could care less. I wrote a letter to them, and never heard back - amazingly poor service.
One day I called the local manager and he said, sorry I haven't gotten back to you, everyone is a little crazy around here getting ready for one of the hh gregg higher ups store visit. Wow, I said would I like to talk to him - not that it would do any good. I specifically went to hh gregg because I liked the service they provided in selling me the TV - as for after the sell service forget it. I also had purchased a refrigerator and digital camera to support them - they have severely wounded my customer loyalty. Buyer Beware!!
