hiddencreek village apts company r carroll management apt chargeing me app fee and admin fee before app is even approved. wants 160.00 upfront greensboro nc North Carolina
my husband and i went to this apt complex hidden creek village apts, and this woman crystal told us we could do a app and the app fee is 65.00 for married people and administrator fee of 95.00 and then 150.00 security. wants 160.00 upfront before we even know if we are approved. told her we cant afford more then 150.00 security if it goes through.and was told the 65.00 and 95.99 probably wouldn;t be returned to us. she didnt know. its like if they say oh we changed the security now to 500.00 and you back out then we get to keep the app fee and also the administrator fee, how do they get away with this. and here we wont have the apt and also out 160.00 they have kept. i can see they keep the 65.00 app fee but not the 95.00 administrator fee. is this a scam.we are very upset about this. i asked this woman about this admin fee and she said she dont know if it will be returned, i have always paid the app fee and when its approved then i pay the admin fee and security. can someone please help me here. so far we havent given them anything. ty diana

i spoke to someone and they explained the charges and looks to me like they are good. and not a scam. i had been scammed many times by people so i was leery. the office staff is really nice and accomodating.
