I used HMA over a year ago and stopped the service after one month because I found more effective alternatives. Recently netflix began blocking my current VPN provider so I decided to try HMA again. Big mistake - it did not work nor are they making any attempt to make it work. Thus began the hassle with getting a refund. I paid $10 for one month. I contacted customer support less then 60 minutes after subscribing and was referred to billing department for refund.
THe refused my refund because the 30 day refund policy does not apply to former customers. So it is satisfaction guarntied only if you are a new customer. I have since been bombarded with SPAM from HMA asking how to improve their service but they are unwilling to refund my $10.
Consider my $10 a learning experience for anyone reading this. Don't be fooled by all the hype you see in fake reviews. These guys are sharks and are hoping to hook you for a yearly subscription.
