Home Depot policy is that as soon as a piece of eqiupment is out for more then 48 hours from delivery date, it has to be dealt with by manufacturer. their installer couldn't install quickly, Whilrlpool will only repair and not replace as it was 10 days after delivery - even though it was on Home Depot's delivery schedule. I am now left with a dishwasher that doesn't work and have to wait again for Home depot and Whirlpool to figure it out.
Home Depot's usual statement is that, "it's policy" and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.
