Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Homepointe and Jason have been ripping us off from day one! No heat in home, no shower for months at a time, moldy conditions made it impossible to live in home. Inspectors have deemed home uninhabitable, so we moved. Jason tried to charge us money for the maintance we asked for since we moved in. We were there for a year and I lost a baby because of a miscarrage, because of the mold, as well as may health problems we have now because of the mold.

We have many issues with homepointe and jason, we decided to take the owner to court as well as homepointe and jason. I won the lawsuit regarding the fact that we owe homepointe NOTHING and they actually stayed the owners lawsuit for 4,000.00 untill after bankrupsy court with Mark Biondi the property owner and co-conspirator of the fraud. The address is at 1420 carson road #a Placerville, ca 95667, and homepointe has actually rented this uninhabitable house out again, even after the owner filed bankrupsy!

SHIFTY business moves and this is only a few examples of the hel* that homepointe, jason pickens, mark biondi and so on... have caused our family. All we requested was our deposit back because we have proof we left it in better condition then when we moved into the dirty lawnless, moldy, money trap dump. At one point I had over 2000.00 in electric bills because of drafty windows that fell apart at the touch, as well as hot water that constintly dripped all day to the point that we had no hot water to shower.

Please DO NOT rent from homepointe and jason, or mark biondi I can show proof that he is in bankrupsy to avoid paying us our lawsuit, as well as fraudulant contract breaches by Jason through homnepointe.

Thank you

Wendy

After reading this report regarding Home Pointe Property Management and a named manager of Jason Pickens I'm actually astonished of how little people understand the business. I personally have (4) rental properties of my own; the last (3) properties have been managed. First off, how can you have $2,000 in electrical bills with no heat? That does not make much sense. It sounds like this may be an older home or apartment that has an expensive way to heat, which isn't against the law. Second, if you look at a property to rent when you are pregnant shouldn't you be concerned when viewing? If I was to look at a property, and maybe this is just intelligence on my part, I would see this so-called, and I quote: "dirty, lawn less, moldy, money-trap dump and think, maybe this isn't the place to raise my baby?? That just sounds like bad parenting to me. Third, this report states that the property is still being rented out. After looking on their website I can't find this property at all. I'm just trying to find any sort of truth in this accusation. Fourth, as most people know Property Managers work for the owners. They assist the owners in renting their property, taking care of the deposit, money being transferred, and all maintenance that is approved by the owner and any other owner services. These accusations sound like the owner did not allow for any repairs or maintenance to the property which is no fault on the Property Manager. The Property Manager may only make suggestions while expressing urgency but can not take it upon him/her to approve anything without the owners consent. It is a sad case when an owner is forced to file bankrupcy. However, I think in this situation it is being used to accuse a property manager or a property management company. Do you really think this company forced the bankrupcy? Maybe this property manager filed the bankrupcy papers for the owner? Highly unlikely! This story really upset me due to the lack of knowledge that tenants have. I probably shouldn't have wasted my time writing this rebuttal due to the fact that "Wendy" can't even come up with any probable cause to her case. Oh, one last thing... If this did actually go to court then that lawsuit would be between the owner and the tenant, not the property management company. Look at the title on the property; does it say Home Pointe Property Management?? I highly doubt that too. Maybe you should take this opportunity as a life learning experience. If you view a property that looks as you stated maybe you shouldn't rent it. Maybe if you can't make that judgment on your own then get someone to help you. Start accepting your own decisions as your own and stop blaming others, this is life.
