Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I were at our wits end trying to save our home - we went in on May 21 to ask questions. We signed the paperwork, and brought them a check in the amount of $2,995.00 the following day - I should have know then and then that when they said they did not accept Visa/Mastercard - that I was throwing my money away.

In their paperwork - they specifically state in bold lettering, "If you have been served with a notice of a foreclosure hearing and/or sale, contact an attorney immediately. Do not delay! You have legal right! Failing to contact an attorney or at least the court from which the notice arrived, may result in loss of your legal rights> Contact an attorney to protect your right! That is word for word on the document that they gave us and we signed.

We went to see an Attorney, and he told us that it was in our best interest to just walk away - that there was no way that we were going to get anything close to what we owed on the home. The next day, I contacted "Hope" via email - asking for a refund of $2,300 - which was $2,995 minus the $650 - and it had not even been 30 days since they had started the loan modification process! We were told it would take at least 60-90 days for a completed modification. I received an email back from "MICHAEL" stating that no refund could happen-that I was breaking the contract - and that was that. There is NOTHING in the contract stating that we could not break the contract - and we did exactly what the contract told us to do was to contact an Attorney.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - and if you will now look at their score - they now have an "F" ranking. They NEVER responded to the BBB.

I also have an open case with the Arizona Attorney General's Office who are looking into this matter. I have also spoken with Senator John McCain's office on the matter as well.

They were very charming, very calming people - and we sank for their "bull", hook, line, and sinker. How stupid were we -

Just beware - I am now out $2,995, my house is being foreclosed on September 1, 2009, and we are now looking for somewhere to live -

DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU
