Hot Wire Hot Wire is the worst company ever! Buyer Beware!!!! San Francisco, California Internet
I attempted to rent a car on the weekend, the Hot Wire representative, told me it was no problem, and that she could help me rent through Avis in my area. Sounded so easy, however....when I called the number to confirm the car rental, and time to pick up the car, they could not be reached.
I called back and told her this, she told me there is a no refund policy. I explained, I did not get the service, so logically, I should be refunded. She said she would attempt to call the company herself.
After being put on hold for twenty minutes, I decided to call back to get someone else. They claimed my name, address, or e-mail was not in the system.
I told them, however, they did magically, charge my credit card. They never did help me, just robotically tell me how great my "deal" was, and that there was a no refund policy.
How I wish I had read othe reports about this company. Don't end up like me with Buyer's regret, and a 77.00 charge, that will take a long time to get back.
