Enrolled in HughesNet 2 months ago. Pay $68.03 per month with direct checking account draw. Have called 4 times due to service problems. 3 times I have sat on the phone for an hour or more going thru their normal click on this, click on that to be resolved for approximately a day or so. Then service would be interrupted again for another service call. My equipment has been changed 3 times, one service technician has been out and guaranteed we would not have any more trouble. When I went to cancel my account the last call, I was informed that I will have to pay for my 2 year contract. Pay? for a service I have never received satisfactorily? I cannot change my method of payment each month; said they had to do direct draw from personal checking account for the initial sign up and then change to paying online or send check after that. I tried, told that I could not do anything but through personal checking account which cannot be stopped thru my bank but thru Hughes Net, which they will not do so I am going to get charged without any control. Please help I want to stop this nonsense now! I am not going to pay for a service that I do not receive! These people are crooks! My son had problems with this service and he lives in Arkansas, 1500 miles away from me!
