Hughesnet is without a doubt the absolute worst Internet service I have ever signed up for. Have had "service " for just over a month now. Constantly booted off in the middle of trying to do business ( professional or personal). As bad as dial-up in "speed". Then there is their " fair use" baloney. You only get a certain amount of use for downloading. They allow an arbitrary limit to make sure you don't use more than your so-called fair share, and if you do - poof - you're cut off, put in time-out, sent to the corner! You CANNOT watch any videos, movies, etc. without paying for "tokens" which allow you another 24 or so hours of use. So, the quoted price you signed up for is increased by the amount of tokens you buy to continue use. I'm sure this minor detail is somewhere in the fine print of the contract I foolishly signed, so now I need to try and save $400 to cancel this asinine situation. Do not, repeat, NOT subject yourself to Hughesnet Lowspeed Joke internet "service." wish I had heeded the warnings of other victims.
