Brentwood,#2Consumer Suggestion

These TS companies do often "sell" the "world" in a beautiful light which is totally unacceptable and the state is closing them down. This company was doing a tape reviewing what the enrollee is signing up for defining the services provided followed by a written contract in the mail. There are no defined definite transaction dates. The tape would have recorded it and be a vehicle to refer to for the refund request that should follow. The state does not sanction definite dates being specified for a sale whether a TS , car or home. No one can do that. An enrollee could call in and listen to the tape and also gets a contract in the mail. If one does not agree with either media piece you cancel it and receive a full refund. It is not pretty nor very assuring but at least the info presented can be verified and if one does not feel good with it cancel the transaction. I believe this company has since been retired in early 2008 but to wait until April 2008 to become dissatisfied is quite beyond the horizon. Consumers need to react when they feel they have an issue especially when the tools are there to stop the event from happening.
