iCollector.com is an Auction Portal that opperates worldwide.

The sytem is good and simple to use.

I have used it a few times and was generally pleased.

HOWEVER they appear to take on any old client without doing due dillagence, I assume they get a cut of the winning bid price.

I recently bid on some gems with, well there appear to be a myriad of names}

Bob Minhas at 6106 Cottam Rd Port Alberni BC Canada

ViArtAuctions

Carats Trading

Live Auctions

Vancouver Island Art Auctions

Please google map the above address [it appears to be a mobile home!]

One or all of the above offered over 1200 lots of gems thru iCollector.com, some lots were valued at over $3m. I bid on five lots at the minimum bid and "won" them all [If the description was correct I would guess the value of all the lots I won was in in excess of $5,000 I won at $510!], they do not accept Credit Cards and Bob Minhas asked me to pay by check before he would send the items.

I complained to iCollector that it looked like a scam and asked what checks had they carried out on the auction business listed above.

They have totally  ignored my requests and do not seem to care who they put on their auction portal, I would suggest anybody using iCollector.com preceeds with care & suspicion.

I have not paid for the "won" lots [I was wondering how many winners of each lot there might be or if the items existed at all] I have reported Bob Minhas Etc. to Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in British Columbia.

I note that iCollector and the above "auction" companies are located very close to one another......Are They Connected?

Barry Reuter Bogus Bidder

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, August 16, 2016

I am the owner of Vancouver Island Art Auctions and operating this Auction business since 2012.

Just recently so called Barry Reuter/Beastie signed up for my auction and bid on some items. We have very simple and straight forward agreement when bidder sign up for our auctions to bid. Its clearly stated in my auction agreement that I accept funds for winning bids through Paypal, Wire Transfer or Bank Cheque.

Barry Reuter did not want to pay any of these methods which he agreed to pay in our auction agreement. On top this Bidder started to complaint that my auction company is not real and tried all kind of tricks. I sent videos of my auction house and images of my stock, also invited Barry Reuter to visit my auction house if he has any doubts.

I was surprised at the end when Barry Reuter said tHat I must ship all his winning items first and when he receive the items then only he will pay. Which make it very clear that he is just a scammer who want me to send him the winning items without paying his invoice.

Its my request to all auctioneers to be carefull from Barry Reuter who claims to be resident of Monaco and told me to ship his items to England without paying his invoice.

I am the iCollector account manager for Vancouver Island Art Auctions. Bob, owner of VIA Auctions has been running auctions on iCollector with no complaints since 2012. They met all of our requirements before they were able to open an auctioneer account on iCollector - we do not let "anyone" become a seller on our site.

The auctioneer accepts check, paypal, and wire transfers. There is nothing suspicious or wrong with only accepting these methods. VIA Auctions has been doing successful transactions with bidders with no other known complaints. The bidder who created this report agreed to these payments terms when they registered for the auction and placed bids.

All of the accusations made in this claim are exaggerated or false and had already been addressed by VIA Auctions and iCollector. The bidder appears to be very disgruntled and did not read the payment terms before bidding in the auction.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact iCollector support.
