I am not an employee of the compant, but I am an associate of the company. You say you never recieived any checks from Ignite? Well my friend you did something wrong then. Is you address on file correct? I am a Managing Director and I have received EVERY single check that I earned! My ENTIRE downline has received every single check they have earned! And guess what son, they ALL cashed!

Wow, Michael, sounds like you were busy signing up dozens of people in a state where Energy deregulation doesn't exist (let's state the obvious and also say Stream doesn't operate in Connecticut).
Maybe all your friends in family live in Texas. Or maybe, and more likely, your post is a hit job.
So I guess Stream/Ignite is busy ignoring commission checks, and as a result has magically fooled everyone by being awarded the following:
2008 Ignite, Inc. Marketing Arm of Stream Energy Approved Membership of DSA[1] 2008 Platts Global Energy Rising Star Award Finalist[2]
2008 SMU/Cox School of Business Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Award Winner[3]
2008 Ernst & Young Regional Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner[4]
2008 Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Customer Service Award Winner[5] 2007 Platts Global Energy Rising Star Award Finalist[6]
2007 Greater Dallas Chamber Of Commerce Momentum Award Winner[7]
This isn't "buyer beware", but "Ripoff Report Reader beware".

All mr CT had to do was call associate support M-F 8am-6pm and give them his associate nubmer and they would of told him exactly what to do to trigger his check. Did you not have your back office which also shows you your commission checks in the pipeline waiting to be released once you complete your minimum requirements? Those checks will continue to sit there until the requirements are met which is simple to do...shame on you, not shame on the company, they have always did what they said...

If you do EXACTLY what they tell you, you will get paid. There are goals & deadlines and if you don't meet them your check will be delayed.

Mr Ct sounds like an over achiever in some aspects and an under achiever in details. He was successful at recruiting to his team even enough for the first promotion, but didn't get his own personal customers. Understanding the compensation plan will resolve his problem and start sending him checks. The great thing is, he still has the opportunity to add those customers and start receiving the 3rd compensation, called residual income. He may have missed his bonus time frame and thus will not receive a bonus check on his already added associates. Being in CT is not a deterent for building this business here in Texas as the prior respondant states. Mr. CT may be from Texas and know lots of people here, or he may just be a very outgoing guy. Geography is not a limitation in this business, it may be one's excuse. One of my team members has associates in 22 other states. I hope I will too. Don't Quit Mr CT!

The author of the alleged "non-payment" report is incorrect. I have been an associate with Ignite in Dallas, Texas for nearly 2 years. I followed the steps that are highlighted clearly in the business model and presentation (much like the gentlemen from Copperas Cove, listed above) and have received 58 checks - which all cleared the bank - to date. The simple fact is this - Ignite works if you do. Michael from CT obviously hasn't completed gathering the required number of customers (4) and hasn't had them verify the electricity provider switch in order to trigger his first bonus. This is why he has not received a check from Ignite. The most curious thing to me in the report is that the gentleman/author is writing from New Haven, Connecticut - a state that isn't even in the business service area (Ignite currently services the State of Texas, only). Not only would it be difficult to gather customers from such a distance, it would be even harder to stay plugged in to meetings and current information. The only scam here is that Michael from New Haven hasn't written truth in his report. Ignite and Stream Energy are legitimate organizations that send very nice checks - for those (and only those) willing to work hard in the business and follow the business plan.

The individual failed to receive his pay check because he failed to follow basic instructions. He was required to get 3 business partners and 10 electric customers per the simple business plan provided and briefed throughout the company. If you can do "3 and 10" you are rewarded. I would wager that if he would view the online presentation on the Ignite business plan the "3 and 10" concept and requirement is repeated over and over...
