This customer reported the problem on the 7th, the refund was processed on the 8th and settled. Unlike charges that are authorized by phone and are noted on your credit card account as soon as the authorization is issued credits are simply settled with the days batch and then work through the credit card system. I verified with our credit card processor that this credit was issued and the consumer should see it reflected on his account. I wish we could have issued an instant credit to this customer however it is not possible. The only system that allows for this is paypal. I hope this shows up soon for this customer and he lets everyone know that he got his credit. Until then maybe somone should do something about the way the banks take our money right away when we make a charge and make us pay interest but don't credit it for days and don't stop charging interest until they post the credit.
