In late Jan 2008, I sent them my ipod in their provided envelope, in good faith. They called me a couple of weeks later telling me that it needed a new hard drive and it would be $125. I said it wasn't worth it and to just send it back. They said they'd do it for $110. I agreed. They charged my credit card and about 2 weeks later, I got back my ipod. When I sent it to them, the apple logo would appear and nothing else. When I got it back, it was worse. It was completely dead. Wouldn't take a charge, wouldn't reset, NOTHING!
I wrote many emails and got NO RESPONSE. I called and called and finally one day Megan answered the phone and told me "Oh, just request another envelope for repair, put your ipod in it and reference the RMA number as your first order number. Explain that you want a refund. It's no problem, we do it all the time". I asked her why they never respond to my email, she said "Oh, we have problems with our email", which I would be is a lie.
I complied. I requested a new envelope. I got it. Below, I will paste the exact text from my letter that accompanied my ipod. That was sent March 17. I haven't heard anything, they don't answer the phone any more at all, they don't respond to email. They just charged my credit card and now they've kept my ipod video.
Here is my letter (with X's for personal info)

Dont you guys test the devices before shipping them back?
