 something has to be done about the IPASS system. whatever private company administers the service needs to have their processes updated. I just got off the phone with a very nice phone rep who gave me a ref # of 292317938. I received yet another violation notice even though i have an i pass, affixed to my windshield as instructed. i hardly use it but these days you HAVE to have one. regardless of how i feel about the fact that these tolls exsist!!!! my concern is this, If my account is negative for a month, like the rep told me it was(the reason i got fined), why does it not show a negative balance in my online account rather it showed a positive balance? Isn't that the whole reason to have online access to your account? if you check your checking account balance online and it says you have $100.00 but you call the bank and they tell you its negative $50.00 over the phone, there's a problem and the bank manger fixes it promptly.  How can this IPASS expect me to believe that the balance that shows online is not the actual balance???? Why then does it say "Account Balance  $18.50" and i received an e-mail saying a have a low account balance today even though I called 1 min. later and it shows a positive balance of 14.50. I am fed up! Their system does not work. if they advertise your account balance on your account screen, that's what consumers have to go by, do they expect people to call once a day to find out the balance on the ipass. If these shady business practices continue the next time I'll need an attorney.

what they are doing to people cannot be legal. This violation they made me pay a settlement on, she said was from December? and she told me it was "came through" 5 days after i spoke to a rep at ipass regarding another violation where they were questioning if my ipass transponder actually worked because i continually get these notices for no reason, the box is in the windshield the license plates are registered on my account. even though the so called violation happened in October????? the rep i spoke to in dec didnt cathc it and now im being fined 8 months later?????? they can bring it out 2 moth later and fine you more because it wasnt handled in october???? today when i paid they so called settelment it had been 8 months with no notice recived no follow up not even a threatning letter like they always send. I told the rep today that this is stealing and it is nothing less than theft, these deciving pratices should be illegal. Because of these practices i try to avoid the hwys at all costs! but how can you!
