Shelley, You are delusional aren't you, poor dear! The Attorney General Office did not side in your favor. They stated that you stated "you would be more than willing to send us a replacement kitten at no cost to us". Is that not what you said? I do have all the documents you sent to the AG's office. Mr. Murphy was nice enough to forward them to me. I can post all of these documents if you would like, as well as, the documents from the 4 vets that saw Maya (kitten) and the AG's office. I refused to take a replacement kitten, because I did not want another sick kitten from Indigo Angels. This is a contagious disease, if one kitten had it, more than likely there are others in their cattery that is sick!! My cat and our new kitten (thanks to a reputable breeder in my area), both are happy and healthy. If I had my cat around Indigo Angel's sick kitten, then my cat would have gotten FIP too, but that wasn't the case. They were introduced with Maya being in a carrier. After we found out Maya was very ill, my vet recommended the sick Ingo Angel's kitten be isolated from our healthy 2 year old Persian. My vet is very knowledgeable, she is a cat expert, and knew that Maya was very sick instantly when she examined her. She suggested several tests which proved her to be right. My husband and I are not cat experts and we did not recognize the signs Maya was showing as being ill. My vet has a very busy practice and I stated to her that I did not want her to be bothered by Indigo Angel's vet or Shelley Haukoos, and asked that her office would direct them to me. She is still my vet and we have developed a very lasting friendship over this whole ordeal. Finally the only reason my husband suggested that I not deal with Shelley Haukoos any more is because he thinks she has "issues"! He said thanks for proving his point! I will be more than happy to share all the documents with anyone who would like to see them, maybe I will post them on my website! I am trying to help other from being hurt and going through what we have gone through! Sincerely, Diane

My name is Shelley Haukoos and I am the proud owner of Indigo Angel. After being in business for over half a decade, I can proudly say this is our first complaint from an actual client and I would like to happily address this complaint of Diane Desrosiers, because many FACTS are left out along with blatant lies on Diane's behalf. In fact, we implore you to do due diligence before adopting a kitten from us! Our vet, who comes to the house to work with our kittens, is standing behind us 100% and he would not risk his license to back people who as Diane claims are scamming people and selling sick kittens! Diane's vet, on the other hand, has bowed out and refused to be involved in the situation any longer.
In dealing with strangers off the internet, we have had a very good track record, but it only takes one scary seemingly convincing complaint to really ruin an online business and it is unfair these websites allow this nasty stuff to come up right at the top of the search engines. Too bad, there isn't a rating like the one Ebay has because if there was I'd estimate our satisfaction rating to be around 99%. Anybody who's had a business I'm sure has dealt with their own Diane. I would have addressed this complaint sooner, but we have been in mediation with the Attorney General where Diane filed a complaint against us.a complaint in which she outright lied on more than one thing to the Attorney General. The Attorney General found in our favor and the matter is closed, if that sheds more light on this situation in regards to Diane accusing us of being scammers and selling sick kittens. Diane's reaction immediately following the decision of the Attorney General was to set up a YouTube account to further harass and defame us. As you can see, nobody else is jumping on the bandwagon to join her in defaming us.
Please follow this link to read our compilation of Exhibits and response to the Attorney General. This will thoroughly address the FIP complaint situation against us and display several times of Diane outright lying. www.tcup-persians.com/diane/diane.htm
We have also sought legal counsel in regards to this matter. We have plenty of proof to pursue criminal charges of extortion and bribery and civil lawsuits of slander, defamation of character, libel and copyright infringement (as we clearly state No images or text may be reproduced without the express written consent of Indigo Angel.) with proof of considerable losses and to compile the evidence further Diane has even put up a website www.tcup-persians1.com against us. We are unsure if we are going to pursue charges at this timewe have to see how this continues to affect our business. Please visit Diane's website so we can point out some additional mistruths on Diane's behalf. Number one: She states I will deny she is a client and claim she's a competitor. Interesting claim, please refer to us addressing our previous fictitious complaints in our letter to the Attorney General. Now if you will, refer back to Diane's website where she states our designer Woolidoo breed is not recognized by any of the cat registries. Wow, what a shocker! How devious and cunning are we? This statement is true and stated clearly on our website at www.tcup-persians.com/announcements.htm AND on our contract that Diane received. Our new Woolidoo line is unique to Indigo Angel and currently not registerable with purebred cat registeries. We will be working on setting the breed standard to attain registration of our Woolidoos. However, the Mother comes from registered purebred lines and Father is a registered purebred. You can find that on Exhibit 1 page 2 of Diane's contract on our website www.tcup-persians.com/diane/diane.htm We have never led anyone to believe our Woolidoos are registered with any of the cat registeries. Our Woolidoos are a mixed breed that have wonderful benefits of being virtually non-shedding and have amazingly outgoing, intelligent loyal doglike personalities. Also in regards to the CFA, we contacted them several years ago in regards to breeding our purebred Persian line. We do not claim the Teacups are a separate breed nor have we ever led anyone to believe they are a separate breed.the terms miniature, teacup, toy and pocket refers to size differentiations in a purebred line. You can refer to that differentiation in the right bar on our homepage www.tcup-persians.com where you can distinctly see Breeds and Sizes. We are not in violation of the CFA. Perhaps Diane should take her own advice about lying.
Diane refers to the ONE other FIP complaint post in which we respond it is fictitious, yet she tells the Attorney General we have SEVERAL in the complaint she filed against us. Funny the fictitious posters didn't have MY cell phone which I supply only to ALL Indigo Angel clients to call when they pick up their kitten at the airport, because we worry sick when our babies flight out into the great big world. Nor did they have our address which is on all our contractshmmmm, Diane, think about it! Its not hard to find out our town through a simple email asking us where we are located, but my cell and the address.we don't give that out to ANYONE except our clients. Notice too how no one else has joined in the Indigo Angel bashing with Diane?
Diane even admits her Husband who is a retired Police Officer has told her to cease her actions as you can see on Page 2 of Exhibit 7 on www.tcup-persians.com/diane.htm
We would have no problem excepting responsibility if Maya had been the ONLY cat in Diane's household, but Diane has another cat that we are in question of that our cat was exposed to. Diane refused to share testing info on her cat and you will see how this comes in to play later and leads to more lies on Mrs. Desrosiers behalf.
Diane also states that we do not stand behind any of our guarantees. We find that interesting too in being we offered her a replacement kitten even after she breached our contract. This was also addressed in our letter to the Attorney General. And we stood behind that promise despite being extorted, harassed and lied to. And you will be directed to many items in which Diane says one thing and then another. We still have not even received a euthanasia report from Diane's vet. If you will also note in her complaint she speaks of taking care of Maya in the present tense which we find odd being she claimed to have euthanized her at the end of January.
She also goes on to tell the Attorney General her cat was received in unhealthy condition, yet she left a message on my cell phone that a vet confirmed Maya healthy within our 72 hours we call to have the cat examined. She then goes from a stressful flight and Rabies vaccine to sharing a foodbowl and litterbox with another cat to end up sick approximately 3 weeks later. If our cat was sick, then why didn't we hear from Diane again until January 16th, 2009? Its all in the Attorney General report.
Diane states, They have never once offered me a kittens at their contract states. If you refer to our Exhibits to the Attorney General you will see that statement is also a blatant lie also.
Diane states concern for her Daughter. Then goes and lists our Daughter's cell phone number in reference to this complaint. As you will see in the compilation to the Attorney General she had my cell phone number on the health certificate and emails. Her Husband Jack, I assume misdialed, because our cell numbers are one number different and spoke with my Daughter and her voicemail also says her name.yet Diane continued to call my Daughter's cell phone AND mine to leave nasty messages.
My understanding of Paypal's protection is they will recover your funds should your item not be shipped and also if it is grossly misrepresented. Sorry, they do not cover items received and verified healthy upon receipt.
We thank you for taking the time to do your due diligence before adopting a kitten from us and reading all this in its entirety. I am confident after reading our letter to the Attorney General and the Exhibits you will be able to make an informed choice in deciding to add a new furry member to your family. Best wishes.
Sincerely,
Shelley Haukoos
