Inphonics Rebate Center Ripoff. Did not Honor Rebate Saint Paul Minnesota
Comment:On 8/30/04 I purchased 2 Camera Phones through Cellular Choices Website with a $150.00 Rebate for each phone if a service plan through Alltel is agreed to. The rebate states that all information must be provided after 3 monthly payments to Alltel for the plan purchased. After that time, then the rebate can be submitted. I sent each rebate separately on December 8, 2004 requesting the $150.00 for each phone. On January 10,2005 I sent a letter requesting information on where the rebate was in the process.
A letter dated January 11, 2005 was sent to me about one of the rebates was invalid saying, "a missing copy of product UPC code included with the shipment". I have copies that I sent the UPC Codes for both rebates in both packages! I resent all copies of the UPC Codes that day, January 11, 2005. I have time stamped copies of everything and reciepts from the Post Office from which they were sent. On March 4, 2005 I recieved and cahed one $150.00 rebate. On March 14, 2005 I went on the website to see the status of my other rebate, and found an "invalid" in the Claim Status column. I called the 1-866-579-3062 and spoke to a customer service representative and she said it was past the due date file for a rebate. They will not rebate the $150.00 in which I submitted all of the correct paperwork.
