InstaCast NYC This East Coast Giant is Ripping Off folks in the industry with false advertising and Fraud New York, New York
InstaCast of NYC is a FRAUD. I signed up for their FREE 15 day trial offer. i were guaranteed that if I were not completely satisfied they would not charge me. I could email them within 15 days if I were not satisfied. i repeatedly emaild them throughout the free trial 15 day period, that i could never access the account they had created for me. I called several times to their 24/7 hotline and got a recording. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS! EVER!!! I would get email saying "Forgot your password? Click Here" and it would take me back to a new application with no help whatsoever.
I canceled the service, which were advertised at $14.95 a month within the 15 day period. Then they sent me a billing telling me they would be deduction $14.95 a month starting the next day. I called, left messages, sent a FAX via phone, and finally as of today have sent 42 emails ending our relationship. Finally after the FAX, I did get a call confirming the service were canceled and then another email confirming in writing that the service were canceled. tHEY CHARGED ME ANYHOW and continued to do so until I changed my assount numbers. That stopped them!
Next bank statement to my surprise I were billed 2 times from InstaCast $19.95 (Forty Bucks) not the original #14.95 (which is internet FRAUD.) I began a flurry of calls and emails. before I called the bank to report FRAUD they had successfully billed me 5 times. The bank only would go back 60 days and left me with the rest to reconcile. When the bank tried to solve and collect the charges InstaCast Refused the reversed Charges and the bank hit me with the full charges again as kicked back by InstaCast causing my checking to go tilt with 5-$33 Overdraft Fees. (1 of them a $2 parking meter fee cost me $Thirty Three Bucks!) I were furious with InstaCast and also my Chase Bank in Burbank (Don't trust them either) I still battle this issue from an original inquiry on 1-11-10. They are a RIP OFF. Spread the Word and stay away from them. There are several good agencies in LA/Hollywood. Who needs NYC anyhow?????
