They said that they could guarentee their work, that they would refund the money that I gave them to help us keep our home. I gave them $950.00 upfront with their promise and they did not deliver. Patrick Oates and Nick Denning gave a lot of insurances for months that all was fine until we found out that Bank of America bought back our house and kicked us out. We were not able to find another place to live quick enough to receive Fannie Mae's "Cash For Keys" deal so we lost out.

I just want them to refund the money like they said they would. After I alerted Nick Denning about what happened (they never seemed to know what was going on) he told me to stay in the house...even though we lost it. What were we suppose to wait for, the Sheriff to come by to kick us out? I don't want to go to jail for being a squatter. I still have the recorded message from Mr. Denning and for the past month there has been no effort on their part to return any phone calls.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Wed, June 15, 2011

Your situation is no different than the people who are getting ripped off by debt settlers. These people who took your money did nothing for you and made you sign a contract that was misleading allowing them to escape criminal prosecution, and they know this!! As long as these thieves know that what they are doing is not exposing them to criminal prosecution then they will continue to do so at the consumers request. Call the FTC and the attorney general regarding them, file a police report if possible, it will be hard but if they can't show nothing for what they did then it can be criminal!! There are way too many scammers out there ripping people off knowing the worst that can happen is civil prosecution which they could care less about. Your true complaint lies with the government!! my suggestion is never pay for services up front!! This is the only way you can beat a scammer, too bad It's not legal to f&&k them up the a*s and make them bleed for what they do to consumers.
