Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
First my wife got a call offering a free cell phone, she asked me about it because we don't have one, which is by choice as I don't want the expense.Anyway I told her not really because nothing is ever for free but she said the guy on the phone asured her there was no cost. I told her let them send it but if it costs anything we don't want it, I figured all that would present itself when it arrived.

Well the next thing I know I have these charges on my phone bill. When I call about it I got this guy who told me that he had a recording and played it for me. It was a recording of my wife giving authurization to charge my phone bill, well I was furious because she knows better and we have been through this before, and she does not have that authorization which is why the bill is in MY name only. I had, a few years back, AT&T allow ONLY ME to make any changes to services and long distance because of my wife being gulable in the past and changing long distance services without telling me first.

When I told her she needed to call these people and straighten this out she told me that she never heard any of the "other people" who were in the recording giving disclaimers and such, in fact she said that she only talked to the man that had called and in the recording there were at least three different people giving disclaimers, one being a womens voice. She told the person this and asured me that they said they would reverse the charges. I had already talked to AT&T and had the charges, which were 34.95 and 19.95, removed from my bill, canceled the service, and informed them that I was disputing charges because I had not even recieved the phone.

Well again I found the charge for 19.95 on my next bill and when I called, the man was quite rude and told me I needed to pay the original charges regardless and again wanted to know if I wanted to hear the recording. Now I'm an audio engineer by trade and know how simple it is to manipulate a recording like that, and I could easily hear where they chopped it up and added her "yes" when needed. I told the guy that his recording was a fraud, what I did for a living, and that the bill was in MY name and that AT&T knew she didn't have authorization to make charges to my bill anyway, he then got really rude and told me I HAD to pay it and hung up on me. I didn't even get the chance to tell him I never recieved the phone anyway. They may have sent a certificate, but knowing me I probalbly threw it away, but definitly never used it.

I have since had AT&T put the third party billing block on my account. This company has stuff all over the internet and here, they obviously run a gambit of scams and probably get paid well by people who don't notice the charges on their bill. What can I do to help bring these people down, who do I report them to etc.....I am willing to help as much as I can.
